The Redwood City Library Foundation 4th Annual Upscale Pub Crawl fundraiser will be held on Octobter 8 to recognize 2025 Banned Books Week, October 5-11.
“Censorship is so 1984..Read for Your Rights” is the theme for 2025 Banned Books week and the Foundation’s 4th Annual Upscale Pub Crawl inspired by George Orwell’s 1984 as a cautionary tale about the perils of censorship.
After checking in at the downtown library, ticket holders can visit participating establishments downtown and enjoy discounted drinks and small bite snacks. Each location will feature a banned book, and Foundation representatives will be present to answer questions.
Tickets are $50. Proceeds support valuable library initiatives.
