Participants will create a colorful landscape, step-by-step guided painting in watercolor with instructor Elizabeth Jiménez Montelongo. Create art with basic watercolor sets-- an easy to find and affordable medium. We will be painting on cardstock paper, all materials provided. Space is limited for this workshop. Please register HERE. This event will repeat on Saturday, January 17. Please only register for ONE session of this workshop.

Elizabeth Jiménez Montelongo is a visual artist, poet, and facilitator. Her artwork has been included in over seventy exhibitions in galleries and museums from California to New York. Her largest solo show was at Centro de Artes in San Antonio, Texas. She has facilitated arts workshops (painting, drawing, alebrije sculpture, and poetry workshops) for schools, programs, and non-profits throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Elizabeth earned a BFA in Fine Art (Pictorial Arts), from San José State University as well as a BA in French. She served as 2021 Creative Ambassador of the San José Office of Cultural Affairs and her work has been supported by California Arts Council, YBCA, and CCI. Editorial Xingao published her first poetry book, Breathe Liberación. Elizabeth Jiménez Montelongo is also the founder of La Raíz Magazine. www.ejmontelongo.com
