Annual Pride and Beautification Spring Cleanup on May 9
This year, the Redwood City Pride and Beautification Committee is hosting the Annual Spring Cleanup on Saturday, May 9th – Mother’s Day Weekend. Volunteers will meet at Public Works Services at 8:30 AM for a free breakfast and to pick up their supplies, then head out to targeted cleanup sites around the City. When they return their equipment to Public Works at noon, we’ll have a free BBQ lunch set up for them to enjoy. Public Works is also hosting a free Compost Giveaway on Saturday, May 9th. It’s BYOB – bring your own bucket – for the compost bin that will be set up in the Public Works parking lot. Community members will be able to help themselves to free compost for their gardens.
