Hours of the parks are from sunrise to sunset, except for lighted sports areas which will continue to be open until 10:30pm. Dogs are allowed in the parks on leash but not on sports fields or in children's playgrounds. During City-sponsored, culturally-related events such as the Music in the Parks Series (by permit only) alcohol may be consumed. Park availability is on a first come, first served basis except at the nine (9) parks where we take picnic reservations. A picnic permit is required for any activity involving 25 or more people

📢 Important Notice: 2025 Summer Lower Trails Leash Policy 📢

Please keep dogs on leash on the lower trails of Stulsaft Park during Summer Camps from Monday-Friday, June 16 to August 8, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, all day July 31, and until 1pm on August 1. Please leash up when you see campers. Upper trails are still available. 

Your cooperation ensures safety and enjoyment for all. Thank you for understanding!

Wildlife

 

Reminder. We coexist with wildlife in our hillside parks. As a precaution, please be extra aware of your surroundings while traveling though our trails. City Park Staff will do their best to keep park entrance signs updated with timestamped information regarding any sightings or recent evidence of wildlife activity.
