CORONAVIRUS PARK CLOSURE INFORMATION
Thank you for your cooperation while we all do our best to shelter in place and "flatten the curve" by preventing the spread of the coronavirus. In an effort to lower exposure for our community, the following changes have been made.
Hours of the parks are from sunrise to sunset, except for lighted sports areas which will continue to be open until 10:30pm. Dogs are allowed in the parks on leash but not on sports fields or in children's playgrounds. During City-sponsored, culturally-related events such as the Music in the Parks Series (by permit only) alcohol may be consumed. Park availability is on a first come, first served basis except at the ten (10) parks where we take picnic reservations. Click here for Picnic Reservation info.
We invite you to experience the sense of community you get when visiting a park in Redwood City.

The Redwood City Fire Department, Menlo Park Fire Protection District & Woodside Fire Protection District will be conducting wildland firefighting training in Stulstaft Park on June 15 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., conducting training on wildland shelter deployments, using technology in the wildland firefighting setting, reinforcing radio communications and inspecting wildland personal protective equipment. Multiple fire engines will be parked within the gates and firefighters will be walking around the park to different stations for the training. The off-leash dog trails will be closed during these times. Thank you for your patience as multiple fire agencies practice and refine skills to protect and serve the Redwood City, San Carlos, Menlo Park, and Woodside communities.
