Celebrate the Holidays with Events in Redwood City

City Offers A Variety Of Events From Parades and Toy Drives To Santa Visits At The Libraries

Redwood City, Calif.--The City of Redwood City announced today several upcoming holiday events and activities for the entire family to enjoy. Throughout the month of December, residents and visitors are invited to celebrate the season with holiday festivals and parties, or to give back to the community by donating toys and volunteering.

Holiday Boutique
December 3, 3-8 p.m. in Courthouse Square

Hometown Holidays
December 5, 10 a.m. in Courthouse Square
A free holiday festival featuring a parade, entertainment, ice sculpture, snow, Santa Claus and a new Special Effects Light Show Spectacular. Caltrain Holiday Train
Redwood City Stop - December 5, 6:15 p.m.
The Caltrain Holiday Train presented by Silicon Valley Community Foundation is a free event for families that combines holiday spirit with community giving! Over two nights, the Holiday Train will visit nine stations between San Francisco and Santa Clara, bringing families and friends together with glittering lights, entertainment, and community spirit! Families can bring new, unwrapped toys to donate to local children in need, benefiting the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots and the Salvation Army. 6th Annual Chanukah Festival
December 6, 4-6 p.m. in Courthouse Square
Spread the light of Chanukah and join together with the Jewish community of the mid-Peninsula for a grand public menorah lighting! Features a 3D Printed Menorah, Perry the Magician, latkes and donuts, live music, and more. Brought to you by Chabad MidPen. Silicon Valley Ball
December 12, 8 p.m. - 12 a.m. at the Fox Theater, Courthouse Square, Club Fox and San Mateo County History Museum
Come join the annual black tie holiday party of the year complete with 4 electrifying performances, 4 amazing venues, a casino, and delicious desserts in Downtown Redwood City. Toy and Book Drive
The Annual Redwood City/San Mateo County Toy and Book Drive offers many opportunities for the community to make Christmas brighter for families in need. Local businesses can help by placing a donation barrel at their place of business or by making a donation. Families and individuals can help by donating new, unwrapped toys and books.
