During the annual National Historic Preservation Month, Redwood City's community can all play a part in celebrating our local history. There are school tours of Downtown historic sites, a Union Cemetery Historic Site Tour, and special recognition of that celebratory week by the City Council. And year-round, everyone can enjoy viewing many of Redwood City’s historic treasures by taking the self-guided “Path of History” walk Downtown.

Preserving our historic resources is vital to ensuring the success of our new vibrant Downtown commercial and residential environment, and to maintaining the character and heritage of our City.
