Street Vending
Redwood City is developing new street-vending regulations, and we want your input to help ensure they are practical, fair and responsive to the needs of our community.
In recent months, the City has heard from community members and local businesses about street vending in Redwood City. The City Council has directed staff to develop proposed regulations addressing:
- How street vendors obtain permits
- Where and how vendors may operate
- How the City should address violations

Staff expects to bring proposed regulations to the City Council for consideration within the next few months. This is a high-priority issue for the City, and your input will help us develop an approach that is clear, fair and workable for everyone.
