The City Council typically meets two times a month, on the second and fourth Mondays at 7 p.m. The Council may meet on the first Monday of the month if the need arises. These meetings are held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City and are open to the public.

The Council Meetings are televised live to Redwood City residents on Astound Broadband cable Channel 26 and Comcast cable Channel 27, AT&T U-verse Channel 99, and are streamed live as well as archived on the web (see links below for archived videos). DVD copies of the council meetings can be purchased from the City Clerk’s office.

For live streaming, see the "In Progress" links under Upcoming Events below. "In Progress" Links will be created and visible when the meeting begins.

The live video feed is best supported when using the Chrome web browser. The use of Internet Explorer, Edge, Safari or similar web browsers is not recommended for live playback.

In addition, for best results viewing the live feed, you may want to modify the content settings on your computer.

Directions include:

In the address bar, type chrome://settings/content to open the content settings screen. On the content settings screen that appears, find the Flash Player listing. Check the status. Select Allow sites to run Flash, then click Done.
