Current Minimum Wage

The Redwood City minimum wage adjusts annually with the Consumer Price Index. As of January 1, 2026, it is $18.65. Fast food workers and certain health care workers have higher minimum wage requirements. Information about these wages is available on the California Labor Commissioner’s website (www.dir.ca.gov/dlse) and in the Employee FAQs.
