Typical work includes painting, landscaping, debris removal, fence repair, and more, depending on the project needs and the abilities of the volunteer team. Servicing approximately 30 projects each year, Rebuilding Days typically occur in the spring (the signature annual National Rebuilding Day is the last Saturday of April) and the fall (approximately mid-October).

Climate Resilient Communities’ Resilient Homes Program
Climate Resilient Communities’ Resilient Homes Program helps provide home repair/improvements focusing on home safety and energy conservation through weatherization and electrification. These repairs will help households who do not initially meet eligibility requirements for energy and water conservation installments or electrification conversion because of deferred maintenance and prerequisite home repairs. Climate Resilient Communities also helps eligible low-income homeowners enroll in free solar, home repair, and weatherization programs. Their program enables fixed income residents who do not typically qualify for Energy Savings Assistance and electrification benefits to receive energy and water conservation solutions, as well as address de-carbonization, climate change, and household safety.
