The Engineering Division plans, designs, and manages (in conjunction with other City operating departments) the rehabilitation and enhancement of the City's infrastructure and public facilities. Some of the areas covered include:

  • 155 miles of roadway
  • 8 miles of levees
  • 567 miles of pipelines
  • 64 pump stations
  • 12 water tanks with a 21-million gallon storage capacity
  • Over 13 miles of creeks, drainage ditches, and canals
