Fire Flow Information Request

This service is for obtaining fire flow information required for permitting purposes. Contractors often use this information when designing fire sprinkler systems. Building projects might also need a fire flow report to submit with a permit application.

If you are working on a project served by Redwood City Water and would like to request fire flow information, please fill out the online request form here. The application form may be subject to change.

Pressure and flow data provided may be based on a hydraulic modeling analysis and/or a physical test. Please allow approximately 20 business days for a request to be processed and information sent back to the email address included on the form. Response times may vary depending on staffing and operational conditions.

April 2024 update:  A fee will be charged for new fire flow requests to cover the cost of providing this service.  Please check the Master Fee Schedule page for the latest information.

February 2025 Update: Due to a high number of requests and limited staffing, reports may take up to 6 weeks.
