Parking Meter Pay Instructions

To start a new parking session:

1. Enter your parking stall number.
2. Deposit payment for needed time.
   1. If paying with cash or coin just deposit and the meter will credit the appropriate amount of time.
   2. If paying with credit card, dip credit card fully in the credit card slot and remove.
      1. Now use the + or – buttons to add or subtract time to get the amount of time you desire.
3. Once you have paid for the amount of time you would like, hit the green “OK” button.
4. Take your receipt.

To add time to an existing parking session:

1. Hit the “#” button on the meter.
2. Enter your parking stall number.
3. Deposit payment for needed time.
   1. If paying with cash or coin just deposit and the meter will credit the appropriate amount of time.
   2. If paying with credit card, dip credit card fully in the credit card slot and remove.
      1. Now use the + or – buttons to add or subtract time to get the amount of time you desire.
4. Once you have paid for the amount of time you would like, hit the green “OK” button.
5. Take your receipt.

To use the mobile app to pay for parking:

1. Download app from https://www.paybyphone.com/
2. Setup the app for your personal and vehicle information.
3. For parking in Redwood City use Location Number 4722.
4. Enter parking stall number.
5. Enter the amount of time you would like to park for.
6. Confirm details of the transaction and authorize the mobile payment.
7. You will receive an email receipt for your transaction.
