The Fire Department is very active in Community Public Education. Members of the Redwood City Fire Department would enjoy the opportunity to speak with your community group, church group, neighborhood association, work place or other group. We cover a variety of topics including, but not limited to the following:
- Home safety
- What to do in a fire
- Working with your local public safety officials
- Fire extinguisher training
- Smoke detectors
- Helping children cope with disaster
The Fire Stations are open to members of the public who would like to schedule a tour of one of our facilities.
If you are interested in having the Redwood City Fire Department visit your group or if you would like to tour a Redwood City Fire Station, please fill out our Public Education Request Form. Please remember that our visiting crews are in-service for calls, and may be called away from your tour or event due to an emergency response.
