REACH-Peach Jar

2019-2020 School Year information 

REACH will be at Henry Ford, John Gill, Kennedy, and Selby Lane for the 2019-2020 school year.

Open enrollment begins on April 23rd at our Open House Event from 6:30pm-8pm at Red Morton. You can pick up an application from the After School Program Coordinators at their school sites during after school hours (end of school-6pm). Spaced is limited. Questions? 2018-2019 School Year 


Redwood City Parks, Recreation & Community Services (PRCS), in partnership with the Redwood City School District, delivers the REACH program to over 1,000 children on school campuses in Redwood City and the North Fair Oaks Area, on a daily basis. Over the past 16 years, the City has partnered with the District to serve children who have been identified as needing academic support and/or who would benefit from social and recreational enrichment programs. Our programs include: Recreation, Enrichment, Academic intervention and enrichment, homework support, Community service and Health and wellness programming.

Hours of Operation

The REACH program runs Monday through Friday, from the end of the school day, until 6:00pm.


Community Partners

The REACH program works with many partners to provide quality activities and educational experiences. A few of our program partners include Redwood City 2020, Redwood City Family Centers, Hidden Villa, YMCA, Stanford University, Second Harvest Food Bank, Sheriff’s Activity League, Police Activities League, Marine Science Institute and San Mateo County Health Department.
