Redwood City Parks, Recreation & Community Services (PRCS), in partnership with the Redwood City School District, delivers the REACH program to over 600 children on school campuses in Redwood City and the North Fair Oaks Area, on a daily basis. Over the past 20 years, the City has partnered with the District to serve children who have been identified as needing academic support and/or who would benefit from social and recreational enrichment programs. Our programs include: Recreation, Enrichment, Academic intervention and enrichment, homework support, Community service and Health and wellness programming.

Hours of Operation

The REACH program runs Monday through Friday, from the end of the school day, until 6:00pm.

Community Partners

The REACH program works with many partners to provide quality activities and educational experiences. A few of our program partners include Redwood City 2020, Redwood City Family Centers, YMCA, Stanford University, Second Harvest Food Bank, Sheriff’s Activity League, Police Activities League, Marine Science Institute and San Mateo County Health Department.
