But PLEASE follow precautions for social distancing.  There are many reports that some people aren't taking this seriously.  Group games on sports fields, group playdates at parks, cutting locks to closed recreational areas, and hopping fences, aren't helping to flatten the curve!  Please do your part! And, if you are feeling sick, please stay home.

  • Remember, while our parks  are not closed at this time, our playgrounds and ALL park amenities are closed - including restrooms & water fountains, so plan accordingly. Also, sports fields are not open for group pick up soccer games, etc. Also, please only  walk or bike through neighnorhood parks within your 5 mile radius. DO NOT drive to a park, our parking lots are closed. Please keep moving.

  • Please keep your dog on leash. Off leash dog incidents have been on the rise and this also results in lack of social distancing among dog owners.

  • Please note that State Park & Beach Parking lots are now closed

  • San Mateo County Parks are also now closed, as of March 28, 2020

  • Go for a Walk or Run around your neighborhood and wave to neighbors! Use a service like Map My Run to plan a route! Practice social distancing.
