Senior Lunches TO GO!

The Veterans Memorial Senior Center will be providing senior (60+) lunch pick-up Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please Call (650) 780-7259 to make your reservation and hear the daily menu option. We offer curbside pick up at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center (1455 Madison Ave.) or home delivery throughout Redwood City and Redwood Shores. Seniors must make their reservation by 7pm the night before to get a meal the next day.

Stay Healthy & Active 

  • Stay in touch with Scott & Sang of our Adaptive P.E. Program's YouTube channel with videos for seniors and those who need modified gentle exercise. Videos up currently for Adaptive Yoga, Neuromuscular Parkinsons Training, Evening Weight loss, and Circut Class.

  • Need a therband workout? Download Adaptive P.E.'s theraband workout, here.

  • Meditation & mindfullness at calm.org. Audio only. Click here.

  • TV channels PBS and KPJK (channel 17) have Sit and be Fit shows at 7am and 9:30am if you want to follow along with seated exercises. 

  • Try doing some moderate paced walking in your home hallway or neighborhood to keep your aerobic conditioning up.

  • Exercise equipment for home use can be ordered on-line.
