"Core Service" Agencies
The Fair Oaks Community Center is one of eight "Core Service" agencies throughout San Mateo County providing basic emergency and support services including food, transportation, shelter referrals, housing assistance, client advocacy. The Core Service agencies work in close collaboration with the county Human Service Agency to provide individuals and families much needed support to stabilize their living situations.
The Fair Oaks Community Center serves the following city/county jurisdictions: Redwood City, unincorporated North Fair Oaks, Atherton, Woodside, and Portola Valley. Services for other city/county jurisdictions in San Mateo County are available at the following sites:
