Interactive Wall Art Project
Project applications are under review
The Project
The Redwood City Improvement Association (RCIA) has approved funding for new public art that will add beauty and vibrancy to downtown Redwood City in unexpected places through the Interactive Wall Art Project.
This project will include painted images, scenes, or text on selected downtown Redwood City exterior building walls. The images will allow the viewer to interact with the art and to become, for a moment, part of the piece. The installations will encourage viewers to have their photo taken with the art. The goal of these installations is to delightfully engage and WOW visitors to the Redwood City downtown area and further encourage their exploration of downtown.
This is the second of many public art projects that RCIA will be bringing to Redwood City.
