Thank you for your cooperation while we all do our best to shelter in place and "flatten the curve" by preventing the spread of the coronavirus. In an effort to lower exposure for our community, the following changes have been made.

  • The Veterans Memorial Senior Center will be providing senior lunch pick-up Monday through Friday from
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please Call (650) 780-7259 to make your reservation and hear the daily menu option. We offer home delivery or curbside pick up

Our nutrition staff and volunteers prepare delicious, healthy home-style lunches on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Lunches are cooked on site and include:  homemade soup and/or salad, entrees with side dishe, choice of beverage and dessert – all for only $8.00!

Lunch is served at noon in our Redwood Room. Meals and soups are also available for take-out.  You can also purchase frozen soup to-go so you can enjoy it at your leisure.

Our snack bar is now operating on Fridays from 11:00am - 1:00pm.  On Fridays, come have a “snack” lunch and then go see our free movie at 1:15pm shown in our 280 seat theater.  Our movie listing can be found in the Sentinel (the VMSC newsletter) and on the back of our monthly menus.  Gavin always offers a “special” at a great price.

Due to the ever-increasing popularity of our nutrition program, we strongly recommend that reservations be made at least one “working” day in advance for lunch or brunch.  Call (650) 780 -7259 to make your reservation.
