L.I.T. Application Deadline:  Friday, May 9, 2025

Are you interested in gaining professional experience while working hands-on in a summer camp setting? The Leaders in Training program (L.I.T.) gives teens the opportunity to develop important job and life skills while preparing for future employment through training, hands-on experience, and evaluation. L.I.T.s will learn leadership and problem-solving skills while working with camp staff and youth campers throughout the summer.

Please note: There are limited spaces available, and although we consider camp preferences, placement is based on specific camp needs. A maximum of twenty (20) L.I.T.s per session will be assigned to various camps throughout Redwood City.

L.I.T.’s will participate in the following:
• Group Management activities
• Sports/Enrichment Activities
• Arts & Crafts
• Field Trips

All applicants must submit a written application, and the most qualified will be asked to interview. Applicants must be 13 bythe first day of training (Saturday, 6/14) to participate.

L.I.T. interviews will take place Tuesday, May 20-Thursday, May 22, 2025.
