The Redwood City Police Department is committed to preventing domestic abuse and taking assertive action in all such cases. It is well established that one of the most effective means to break the cycle of domestic abuse is through assertive intervention and advocacy involving those experiencing domestic abuse. To accomplish this, the Department contracts with Cora, a non-profit community-based organization dedicated to providing key services to the victims of domestic violence and relationship abuse.
