The Redwood City Police Department utilizes a continuous hiring process to receive, evaluate and interview candidates for entry-level and lateral sworn Police Officer positions, as these positions become available. Civilian positions are published as recruitments for a specific period of time and normally filled from that recruitment if qualified applicants are selected.
