The Redwood City Police Department is proud to partner with the community to promote safety and security of all those who live and patronize Redwood City. Our goal is to provide people with information on prevention techniques and vigilance. In addition to the crime tips posted below, we encourage communities within Redwood City to participate in their Neighborhood Watch Group. These groups provide a direct connection with the Police Department for reporting crimes and/or emergencies. If your community does not have one established, please contact our Community Coordinating Activities Team (CCAT) at (650) 780-7104 for more information on how to develop a Neighborhood Watch Group.

If there is an in progress emergency, please dial 9-1-1.

For non-emergency calls or circumstances that do not require immediate response, call (650) 780-7100.

To find out more about crime in your neighborhood, please check out our Crime Map.
