Get up to $150 rebate for an electric leaf blower! Redwood City residents can receive up to $150 on a newly purchased electric leaf blower, and have the option of turning in their gas-powered leaf blower (drained of fuel and oil) to Public Works. Electric Lawn Care Equipment Rebate Program
Get up to a $150 rebate for electric lawn care equipment! Redwood City residents can receive up to $150 on one newly purchased electric string trimmer, hedge trimmer, edger, or cultivator/tiller if they turn in their gas-powered equipment (drained of fuel and oil) to Public Works. Simply verify your eligibility by calling the Redwood City Public Works main line at (650) 780-7464, purchase your electric lawn care equipment, fill out the application, then provide your application, and receipts (and, optionally, your drained, gas-powered equipment) to Public Works. Building Electrification Rebate Program
Redwood City homeowners can get a $500 rebate for a new heat pump hot water heater, a $500 rebate for a high-efficiency heat pump, and up to $500 for an electrical panel upgrade if required for new heat pump equipment. An additional $500 is available to customers enrolled in income-qualified utility bill discount programs (CARE/FERA/WSRAP) to defray permitting costs.
