INCLEMENT WEATHER & AIR QUALITY RESOURCES

During inclement weather—such as excessive heat, heavy rain, or cold—City facilities provide spaces where the public can find respite during regular business hours. On excessively hot days, specific facilities are designated as cooling centers to offer additional relief from the heat.

Below is a list of facilities and their hours of operation in Redwood City. Please call ahead to confirm facility hours and holiday closures, as schedules may vary due to weather-related disruptions. If classes or programs are canceled, facility hours may also be adjusted.

Pets are welcome at our community centers—dogs must be on a leash, and other animals must be in a crate/carrier. Only service animals at library locations.
