Kids will thrill to carnival games, proudly show off their Halloween attire in a Costume Parade at 1:30 pm, explore their way through the mysterious Monster Maze, create festive fall crafts, enjoy lots of other fun activities, and win prizes! Redwood City’s Halloween Spooktakular is suitable for kids up to age ten - admission is just $8 per child.

CASA CIRCULO CULTURAL, in partnership with the San Mateo County History Museum and the Friends of the Library, and in collaboration with Redwood City Parks and Arts Foundation, hosts the 9th Annual Celebration of Day of the Dead- Dia de los Muertos on Redwood City’s Courthouse Square.

Come celebrate the Day of the Dead, a beautiful ritual in which Mexicans happily and lovingly remember their loved relatives who have passed. There will be music, dancing, an elaborate altars contest, a procession down Broadway, food court, vendors, as well as free activities for children. There will also be a community Chalk Art Mural that everyone is encouraged to participate in. FREE ADMISSION.

Hometown Holidays, a party to celebrate the holiday season, RAIN OR SHINE! Guests can enjoy a parade, live entertainment, carnival rides, snow, Santa Claus photos and more. This free family friendly event takes place December 7th starting at 10 a.m. on Courthouse Square.
