Want to help out at our events?

Every year, hundreds of volunteers come to our city's parks, recreation centers and offices to give back to the community with their incredibly talented abilities. Volunteers from all different ages, and different backgrounds come together to enhance the importance of volunteer services supporting a variety of excellent programs and special events.

Are you motivated? Are you ready to show off your talent and abilities? There are lots of ways to make Redwood City a GREAT community...and we need your help.

Music on the Square Bucket Brigade 2021

We need YOU to serve on the Bucket Brigade at Music on the Square this summer. Sign up to collect donations from concert-goers at the Courthouse Square on a Friday night to keep the music playing! Here is the band schedule so you can sign up on the night your favorite band is playing: July 16, July 23, July 30, August 6, August 13, August 20, August 27, September 3, 6:00-8:00 PM

Pub in the Park 2021

Do you like to spend time outdoors, talk to people and pour beer? If so, you are the right volunteer for Pub in the Park! The Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services Dept. is hosting 3 Pub in the Park events this summer at Red Morton Park:

Saturday, July 17, Saturday, August 7, and Saturday, August 28.

We need volunteers to cover two shifts at each event. Here are the shift times:
10:30am-2pm and 1:30pm-4pm.

During your shift you'll be operating a cash register and pouring beer for Pub in the Park patrons. Volunteers for this opportunity must be age 21+. We look forward to seeing you at Pub in the Park! Redwood City Parks and Arts Foundation
