Kids Rock! returns for another kid-centric music series, packed with enough music, dancing and fun to (hopefully) earn you a quiet ride home. The morning opens with high-energy fun from emcee Andy Z, Redwood City’s own Master of Music and Play! his family-friendly event, sponsored by Redwood City’s Public Library and Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department, offers a lively, interactive experience for both children and adults. Kids will love dancing to live music, while parents can relax and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Courthouse Square. With an inflatable play-land and more, this is the perfect summer event for families looking to enjoy music, movement, and community in a safe and welcoming space. Join us for a celebration of music and play!

About Emcee "MC" Andy Z

Redwood City-born kindie-rock artist Andy Z literally feels right at home MC'ing our kids rock concert series. In addition to performing live for hundreds of audiences every year, and at such prominent national music festivals as Strings Music Festival in Colorado and Austin City Limits Festival in Texas, he has guest deejayed on the national radio shows Spare The Rock Spoil The Child and Hilltown Family Variety Show. As a celebrity, he appeared with Nancy Cartwright (the voice of Bart Simpson) at the joint event "Stars In The Park", and with San Francisco Giants mascot “Lou Seal”, leading the Highlander Little League Opening Day crowd in a rousing rendition of “Take Me Out To The Ball Game”.
