Join us for FREE music for 10 weeks throughout the summer! Families and friends will be thrilled to take part in our free outdoor concert series at beautiful Stafford Park, this year through August 22nd (No concert July 4th).

There is a concession tent selling hamburgers, hot dogs, potato chips, and drinks, graciously operated and donated by the Optimist Club of Redwood City. All proceeds benefit the Save the Music program in Redwood City Schools.

Based in Redwood City and playing the best dance, rock, pop and soul from across the decades, Janel and the Heist is an uplifting, high-energy experience guaranteed to get you out of your seat. Frontwoman, Janel Tan is also a season 13 American Idol top 75 finalist and power-singer with a versatile vocal range, innovative style, and dynamic presence. This lady can belt.

The Klipptones

The Klipptones are one of the Bay Area’s top party and event bands! They regularly headline top spots in the Bay Area, including the Starlight Room, Top of the Mark and the Terrace Room, numerous outdoor festivals and more. The Klipptones are loved by their fans because of their unique ability to play just about any genre: from rock to pop, oldies to Top 40, blues to funk, and killer old-school jazz.

The Gator Nation Band

Gator Nation, formerly Gator Beat, has been playing dances and festivals on the West Coast for 20 years. They specialize in their own brand of South Louisiana music-  it combines traditional Cajun, Zydeco, and New Orleans R&B. Most notable are the original creations, giving the band their reputation as unforgettable, a band with a beat that bites. The flavor is always spicy, like a good gumbo, and bound to please. As one of their albums is titled, the crowd is always left hollering Gimme Some Mo’.

Tortilla Soup

Tortilla Soup

Tortilla Soup was founded in 2003 and features former members of the legendary groups Tower of Power & Malo. With over 30 years of experience, Tortilla Soup derives their music style from influences like Latin, Cumbia, Salsa, Tex-Mex, R&B, Blues, to Funk and Soul. Lead by Robert Payne, Tortilla Soup strives to bring to their audiences "El Sabor de la Musica." The band's commitment shows a dedication that can best be understood by listening to their smooth, soulful, and danceable sounds.

Kyle Rowland Blues Band

“Blues harmonica player of the year” and “Blues New Artist of The Year” in 2009 from the West Coast Blues Hall of Fame, Kyle Rowland, has been dominating the stage since the tender age of 10 years old. The Kyle Rowland Blues Band dishes out a sauté of boisterous Chicago and swampy Texas blues with a pinch of West Coast swing. Danceable and listenable, this show will have you wanting more with your toes tapping into the next morning.

Rock the Heat

Rock The Heat is a high-energy rock'n roll party band, giving you non-stop, entertainment. Rock The Heat has a variety of talented, seasoned musicians with many years of experience performing. This combination of great musicians and great music brings effortless high-energy entertainment to audiences throughout the Bay Area. We love the crowd and feed off of their energy. Crowd participation and interaction is part of our show and we love to get the crowd involved.

Sinister Dexter is a ten-piece soul machine that brings the unique sound of the great funk horn bands to the park. Featuring the sensational vocalist Rebecca Lipon, a hot five-piece horn section, and a tight rhythm section, Sinister Dexter puts on a high energy show that keeps you moving late into the night.

A group of passionate musicians from different parts of the country intertwined to make you groove to a live fusion of pop, rock, and soul. These young talents are united together with the common goal of making good music. The PĂC’s unique sound was born in a garage out of the SF Bay Area. Their sound continues to develop while being mentored by Verdine White, John Paris (Earth Wind and Fire) and Eddie M. (Prince, Sheila E.)

Delivering their own diversified and dynamic musical mélange of Motown, Classic Soul, R&B, old school '70s, Retro '80s and '90s, as well as the top hits of today, they've been dazzling the Bay Area music scene for years. Melodic, acappella harmonies! Soul-stirring vocals! Sophisticated style, and Engaging Personalities!  This evenings performance will take audiences on a Classic Soul, Motown, Pop and Funk Voyage, paying tribute to ions from each genre.  In summary, Whether the event calls for a Black-Tie, chill-setting atmosphere *or* an interactive, smoking, up-tempo old school dance party, this evening will be a "one-of-a-kind" 'Top Shelf', Classic Experience!
